Letter From Pastor Daniel Musinguzi
Hello friends,
When MAP opened its ministry office in lafayette LA recently! It was another opportunity to help those children who are suffering from the effects of HIV/AIDS, wars, hunger and poverty in Africa. As you may know millions of children on the continent of Africa become orphaned, homeless and abandoned too soon due to life threatening hindrances with every new minute, hour and day parents leave behind hopeless children terrified by what they must face. MAP was established to assist children with a purpose to provide hope and security by meeting needs in order to help vulnerable children to succeed.
I want to invite everyone who is interested in helping a child in Africa to contact Mission Aid Project, Inc. I began MAP by taking children into my home seeking donations through sponsorship and i was able to help hundreds of children. Mission Aid Project, Inc. provides shelter, education, food and medical care however as you know how sometimes in life you hit a wall and happen to go through difficult moments, and when your friends hear about it later, they say, "Why didn't you say something? Why didn't you ask? We would have helped."That's where MAP is now, and that's why MAP needs your help. Very briefly, here's what happened. Over the past year, our funding has come from the well-wishers. Then, the financial crisis exploded, and since MAP is a young children's organization, most of our supporters freezed there MAP sponsorship, since then we've survived on faith and that's why we decided to do this appeal.

About The Volunteer Opportunities with MAP
Mission Aid Project volunteers play a vital role, many give their time to volunteer for a special fundraising event or help with daily activities. People like you are making a positive difference in the lives of children and there are many ways to help which includes helping on MAP location in Lafayette LA. Answer a phone call or make a call to raise funds. Many have given gifts of time and skills in Marketing ,Public Relations and Administration while helping MAP to continue its service for the children. Some help just to spread the word and others as coordinators in communities while others have ideals to help expand MAP by starting a new center. Some volunteers do organize events or arrange sponsorships for them.You can help by keeping MAP informed about local events in your area which could provide a platform to create awareness about MAP and meet potential donors. Some people make campaigns at workplaces and some employers do give employees the opportunity to give in a way that can most benefit the cause of their action as well as corporate culture. A workplace giving campaign is an annual employee giving charitable program. When employees give through their place of employment, it creates morale and fosters team building. Employees are given a chance to support needy children through their workplace giving campaign and corporations are able to help make philanthropy a part of their corporate future. Every body can do something when it comes to helping children in need.Mission Aid Project has been able to respond to children needs because of people who support this noble mission and its programs.
